Cadet Program

PCB invests in our cadets with development and career opportunities that support their career path. Our Cadet Program has been developed to provide cadets with the opportunity to gain unique industry experience, whilst developing their practical, intellectual and interpersonal skills.

Our aim is to provide cadets with a solid understanding of, and grounding in, the specialised construction industry. Developing our cadets is critical to shaping the future leaders of PCB. As part of the program you will gain experience in a diverse range of interesting and unique projects, you will take part in leadership and self-development training and your learning will be supported through mentoring programs and unique industry experiences.

From day one, a PCB Cadet works shoulder to shoulder with industry experts receiving direction and exposure to a range of project. We don’t view cadets as a ‘spare pair of hands’, we take your development seriously and help you contribute to the growth of PCB. You will be a key member of the Project Delivery team.

We offer a two-year development opportunity that provides a range of practical on-the-job learning and formal training prospects. The program includes rotations within different teams and areas of the business including: estimating, onsite contracts administration and site responsibilities.

The rotational program is designed to:

• Improve your learning curve through a wide range of industry projects
• Help you find the role that you want at the end of the program
