Leaders in Performance, Execution and
Delivery

Puch Construction and Building is a leading Australian construction and project management firm, providing innovative construction solutions to top tier government and corporate clients. Established in 2008, PCB has experienced incredible growth since its humble beginnings and is now recognised as an established private company driven by a dynamic and visionary management team.

Our extensive folio of projects is testament to our high-performance teams who rise to the challenge of delivering large-scale complex projects. Just as we lead in innovation, we also lead in industry best practice, being certified to three standards and are among a select group of companies in Australia to be accredited by the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC) to deliver projects valued at $4 million and above.

Determination to achieve best in class has led PCB to be awarded an Environmentally Sustainable Development Award for the redevelopment and upgrade of Randwick Barracks Aquatic Centre (Brookfield Johnson Controls).

Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions has once again achieved re-accreditation to the Office of Federal Safety Commission. This could not have been possible without the help of Puch Construction & Building. The effort and dedication to the OFSC process shown by your staff and yourself has truly been above and beyond. PCB have adapted their safety process, procedures and documentation to comply with our requirements to meet the strict OFSC standards and benchmarks.

PCB have demonstrated their strengths in the management of the Randwick Barracks Geothermal Pool Installation Project and have responded well to multiple challenges in the areas of: asbestos remediation, maintaining facility operations during construction, excess ground water, heat loss minimisation solutions, tree protection and waste management. This project has contributed significantly to the sustainability of the pool’s operation, and provided a platform for alternative energy sources to be utilised within Defence.

The replacement of the skylights at Hangar 523 at RAAF Base Richmond was a unique and complex one, and many factors had to be considered during the project. The main consideration of safety was paramount, and this was displayed in the work of your staff and also to those working in the hangar. The cooperation extended to Qantas Defence Services by PCB during the project was excellent, and one that QDS is extremely grateful.

The Museum is located in a heritage listed building, which is 162 years old. The work in the Museum involved the removal of hundreds of square meters of paint work from the internal walls, sandstone re-pointing, refurbishment, replacement of concrete, timber and linoleum floors, and painting. There was major work on the structural stabilisation of part of the building. All exhibition furniture was moved four times and collection items in storage (15,000 items) twice.

I have worked with PCB on a range of Heritage Projects in the past including those at; Spectacle Island, Victoria Barracks, Richmond RAAF Base, HMAS Penguin Naval Base. At all times I have found PCB to be professional, exacting and conscientious. I find that they are practical builders and aware of heritage legislation and instructions. I would not hesitate to recommend PCB for heritage work in the future.
